Fiorentina striker Adrian Mutu talked about tonight's victory against PSV in the Uefa Cup quarterfinal, in which he scored a decisive brace.

The Romanian international was once again the hero for Fiorentina tonight with a decisive brace in the Uefa Cup quarter final second leg against PSV, striker Adrian Mutu continued his goalscoring spree and almost single-handedly eliminated the Dutch champions, having also scored the only goal in the 1-1 draw in Florence last week.

"It was important to reach the semi-finals," he said after the match. "I'm happy about our performance tonight, and scoring from a free kick is always nice.

"[Giampaolo] Pazzini? He played an excellent match, helping the team as always, he has to stay calm because he will score again too.

"I'm really happy about the results this group is obtaining, and I'm proud to be a part of the only Italian team still competing in Europe. Now we have another important match against Inter, we will try to go there and play for the win."

The Viola will now face Glasgow Rangers in the semifinals, so they will most probably be considered favorites to reach the final at the City of Manchester stadium.
