Real Zaragoza’s Diego Milito believes the game against Deportivo La
Coruna at the weekend will determine the club’s La Liga status.
The relegation threatened side will be hoping to steal all the points
off a Depor side with eyes on European football next season. It will
not be an easy game against the Galicians - who are the best team of La
Liga so far in 2008 - but Milito is hoping his side can pull themselves
to safety.
“It’s vital that we fight and try to pull ourselves towards the higher end of the table,” Milito told Marca.
“We have to play out of our skin as this game will be the one which determines our season.
“We can’t afford to make any mistakes against Deportivo as we know it will be a tough game and there is a lot at stake.
“Depor are a great side with hunger and determination and we know they will make life difficult for us.
“However we have to stay focused and get the right result. The team will be confident and focused and hopefully we can win.”
Zaragoza are third from bottom in LA Liga and three points against Deportivo could see them move to safety.
