Inter fans are likely to be banned from traveling to Parma on Sunday following an emergency meeting in the Italian parliament.
On Tuesday, officials from the Italian home office ruled that Roma fans
travelling to Catania were likely to cause tension and so Giallorossi
tifosi were banned from going to Sicily.
Roma were furious with
the decision, as was Lega Calcio chief Antonio Matarrese who said it
was unfair to ban one side and not the other.
On Wednesday a
meeting was held and the Italian home office decided that the game
between Inter and Parma was also likely to cause trouble amongst rival
fans and it is now probable that Nerazzurri fans will be banned from
their game as well.
The decision has not been given the
rubber stamp yet, but reports in Italy suggest that it will be made
official on Thursday morning and so the chances of Inter fans being
banned are more than likely.

José Mourinho has compared himself to Marcelo Lippi and has cited
the Italian World Cup winner's choosiness over a new club for waiting
for a big club himself after denying that he has a job lined up.
The Portuguese coach believes that if such luminaries as Lippi can wait
for a job that he really wants then there is no reason why he cannot do
the same and stated that if the right post is not on offer then he will
remain out of the game.
After being linked to various high
profile jobs like Inter, AC Milan and Barcelona, Mourinho has now
confirmed that he has not made an agreement with anyone and is waiting
to see what is on offer.
”The perfect example is Marcello
Lippi,” he told A Bola. “He won the World Cup with Italy and at the
moment he is not working because he is waiting for the club of the
right size.
”I am not prepared to enter into a group that are of
medium standing. I will work for a top club or not. I have no desire to
take a rush back.
”I do not have a new team for next season yet,
but I will only return for a great club with grand plans. If it does
not happen then so be it.”

Chelsea manager Avram Grant expects captain John Terry and striker
Didier Drogba to be fit for the Champions League final and insists
Manchester United are not the better team.
Terry dislocated his left elbow in the 1-1 draw with Bolton on Sunday while
Drogba picked up a knock to his knee in the same game.
The Ivory Coast striker allayed fears about his fitness for next week's match
in Moscow, telling L'Equipe: 'I took a blow to my knee that was operated on (in
December), and it hurt at the time.
'I put ice on it immediately but there is nothing serious. I will be at
training this week.'
He was also positive about Terry, adding: 'I have spoken to him - he will
play in Moscow.
'No-one wants to miss this gigantic match, the match of our careers. That's
the case for me any way.'
And Grant echoed his star forward in issuing a healthy prognosis for next
Wednesday's clash against United.
